English as a Second Language (ESL)

The ESL program helps students develop many English skills necessary to succeed in their core classes. In Egypt or any Arab country , the first language is not English , that's why it is important now for teachers to understand how to work with ESL students and to connect with every student English native speaker or non-native speaker , regardless of their native language , . The ESL program focuses on improving the student's talking, listening, reading and writing. In most situations it may no longer be feasible for these students to be the exclusive responsibility of ESL teachers who modify their classrooms so that specific ESL instructional strategies can be successfully implemented. English as a second language is taught in small groups to students who come to school with lower than the school's standard of the English language. These lessons take place every day in a relaxed environment until its felt the student no longer require an intensive ESL program. EAS English as a second language program will assist and advance the students competency to the necessary level, instilling confidence of progress in the student.
