Egyptian American School

The Egyptian American School has proved to be one of the first institutions which provide a unique educational system that utilizes old experiences after being developed in a way that suits the age requirements, makes the most of the new, and trains the working staff to fulfill the school’s commitments towards the students, parents, and society. This has been achieved by the faithfulness and the great efforts exerted by the working staff (teachers, administration, and aiding services).

The faithfulness and hard work have a great influence on the clear progress, great success, and outstanding results of the educational process. In addition, they influence the students’ characters physically, artistically, and scientifically.

Moreover, the parents’ support and belief in the staff and their positive cooperation resulted in overcoming the obstacles, managing the difficulties, and moving ahead towards the desired goal.

It is worth mentioning that all the working staff is satisfied with the school’s achievements and, at the same time, they are working on developing the performance, improving the services, evaluating continuously, and revising periodically to get rid of any difficulties in order to achieve the desired aim.

It is also important to praise the heads’ deep view of commitment to the modern norms of all aspects of the educational process. These norms are among the requirements needed to gain the CITA accreditation that the school obtained in the academic year 2004 – 2005, accordingly, the school obtained a ministerial decree stating that the school’s American diploma is equivalent to the Egyptian High School Certificate.

Now, we are working on expanding the school area in order to sufficiently support any future expansions and increase the area of the playgrounds in the school.

Among the priorities of the coming period:

• Strengthening the positive cooperation between the school (administration and teaching staff) and the parents.
• Advancing an appropriate atmosphere which maintains the ethical and religious values of the society, and keeps the balance between realizing the students’ needs of physical and artistic activities and providing them with ethical and religious values.
• Increasing the connection with other schools that provide the same educational services, in order to create positive athletic and educational competitions.

Fulfilling the school’s promise to the parents and students, it has built a 280 m 2 gymnastic hall. The hall can also be used as a theatre or a cinema. It is opening by the beginning of the new academic year 2005 – 2006. In addition, an area is prepared to be used for practicing horse riding; also, a covered sports hall and a covered swimming pool are opening soon.
